Riga circle is an adventure that leads you under many bridges of Riga City canal, through several parks and fountains, along Riga Old Town must-see buildings, Castle of Light – National Library of Latvia and much more. Apart from that, prepare your cameras for panorama of Old Town of Riga. Enjoy the modern and historical architecture and relaxing atmosphere!

This is a scenic night trip through the Riga City channel. Start the trip in late evening and see the sun set in Daugava (the widest river of Latvia). Afterwards see the amazing light show created by the city lights and lights of the bridges in the Riga City channel. Amazing and relaxing adventure to help you discover Riga city at night time!

Level: easy, for beginners

This route is for those who would like to see the active and fast growing center of Riga – Lucavsala. It is possible to wakeboard, to have a great meal at a restaurant, to have a picnic or just rest in the green area.

 

If you prefer staying in Lucavsala, it is possible to transport your kayaks back. In this case please book transportation in advance. Price for 1-2 kayaks is 30 EUR, but for 3-10 it is 40 EUR.

Level: intermediate

A longer route just nearby Riga center! After exploring and kayaking in Riga channel, you will cross Daugava (the widest river of Latvia) and enter another channel, Zunds channel, which allows you to see the other side of river, passing by the glass-mirrored skyscrapers as well as the green area where you will not feel like in a capital city at all.
Length: 15 km / 9.3 miles

Duration: 4-6 hours

Level: intermediate

The longest kayaking route just nearby! A great possibility to see not only the beauty of Riga channel, Castle of Light – National Library of Latvia and panorama of the Old Town of Riga, but also three green islands, Zaķusala, Lucavsala and Ķīpsala, of the river Daugava. Bear in mind, while being very scenic, this route also requires some paddling skills, as it is longer and a bit more challenging than Riga channel alone.

The old shipyard is accessible only via waterway. See the huge, amazing ships resting in docks and waiting for someone to restore their ability to cross the far-away seas. By the way, this trip ends at a nice and cosy kitsurfer cafe, Cabo Cafe. Feel the adventure!
